VOICES OF HONG KONG

Location:

On the bridge connecting the International Finance Center (IFC) to the star ferry pier, Central, HK. 

 

Background:

"I'm a tourist from mainland China. I'm here to have fun. I came yesterday and I'm staying here for 10 days. And no, it's not my first time visting Hong Kong." 

 

Opinion:

“Everyone in Hong Kong seems to be so busy, they don't really have time to acknowledge tourists. I don’t feel discriminated against." 

 

"I don’t understand why the youths leading the Occupy Central movement are so crazy. Everyone knows Hong Kong is part of China… that is undeniable.”  

 

"The solution? Well, simple. The policies need to change: the Chinese government needs to do something about it.”
