Opinion:

Conflict is a product of ignorance and misinformation.

Hong Kong is a part of China and relies on China for security and financial stability. Hong Kong people need to understand we are part of China and to ask for completely democracy and to have Beijing not interfere is unrealistic.

Awareness of this issue at St. Paul’s is important because Hong Kong is a huge part of global society and important to examine and understand context in order to form proper and correct opinions about other cultures.
