ABOUT KATHERINE KO

Katherine Ko was born in Los Angeles, but grew up in Hong Kong and has lived there all her life. Until she left for boarding school after eigth grade, Katherine attended Hong Kong International School (HKIS). She is currently a senior at St. Paul's School in Concord New Hampshire. 

 

At St. Paul's, Katherine is the head and founder of the Art Society and her artwork has been featured regularly on chapel programs and in the student galleries. She has been recognized both in school and out for her achievements in the fine arts, winning the Fine Arts Dickey freshman year as well as six awards from the 2015 National Scholastic Arts competition, earning four gold keys and two silvers. One of her works went on to win a national silver medal and was displayed in Carnegie hall.

 

Besides her passion for art, Katherine also loves running Cross Country, playing tennis and piano, and serving her local community. She is also the project head of MISHOP (a St. Paul School organized charity shop) and a member of the Cum Laude Society.
